Welcome to the website of Chuck Bob Carnes. We plan to take you on a tour of Chuck Bob's music, old and new....with friends, old and new. From the honky tonk beer joints in Louisville, Kentucky (hometown) to Orlando and Titusville Florida. The many opportunities in the great state of Michigan. New friends in Austin, Texas. And of course, my dear friends in Ormond/Daytona Beach.

Making of "My Old Guitar"

"My Old Guitar" was a must do thing for me. I had been so far from the music scene that I just felt lost. It had been 16years since my last CD "Past and Present". I did the Best of Chuck Bob cd, a couple of singles and that's it."My Old Guitar" says it all. I feel really good about it. We nailed it down in about 6 months. The scariest part of making the cd was me playing all of the guitar parts. Accept on "Baby I Swear" and that was my "brother" Reuben Morgan (The Lounge Lizard) one of my favorite Honky Tonk Heroes. The Honky Tonk Heroes consist of a bunch of old school musicians like myself. Johnny T on drums and Eddie on Bass have been working with me live for a decade. They are a HOT rythym section. Then out of nowhere comes Deano, honky tonk piano player. Whom gracefully devoted a lot of time to the cd, and special thanks to Gary Stewart on peddle steel guitar. The horn section driven by Bob and Matt Dionne with their guest Antonios Molfutas added a great touch and great sound. I must say it was exciting working with Jeff and Modern Technology. The atmosphere and feel of Tropical Studios made this project come together.

Amazing 2007

On Febuary 15 Rock On Productions http://www.rockonproductions.us/ produced Speed Experience Week in Daytona Beach. Working with host Mickey Jones and other performers such as Pat Travers, Georgia Satalites, Kyle Petty and others.
